The Kanawha Kordsmen is an all-male barbershop chorus, from the Greater Kanawha Valley chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
In our rehearsals, we strive for musical excellence, quality learning, enriching fellowship, and fun! We welcome any guy that wants to sing his best.
Our open rehearsals are a great opportunity for potential new members and the public to get a taste of barbershop harmony, so why not pay us a visit!

Who is Harmony ReChoired?
Harmony ReChoired is a mixed a capella chorus from the Greater Kanawha Valley chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Born out of the 2018 "Everyone In Harmony" initiative, our goal is to expand the horizons of barbershop and a capella music in central West Virginia.

"Once Upon a Song" - 2024 Annual Show
Save the date for annual show, "Once Upon a Song"! Come take a journey through time in classic singing with us on Saturday, June 15th at 7:00pm (doors open at 6:30) in the F. S. Belcher auditorium of the Davis Fine Arts building of WVSU in Institute, WV. Under the direction of the 2023 district director of the year, Steve Waggoner, the award winning choruses - The Kanawha Kordsmen and Harmony ReChoired - will be joined by some marvelous local quartets. Mixed Nuts; RCA; Pitch, Please; and the music medics help to round out a good ninety-or-so minutes of some of West Virginia's favorite acapella sounds!
